Language teaching 

The primary language in Denmark is Danish. Even though most Danes speak several languages, it is important for integration, both in the workplace and during leisure time, to become familiar with the Danish language.

All municipalities therefore offer Danish language tuition. Use the left menu to find further information for each municipality, and see where you should go to enrol.


 

Interpreter Services

If you cannot yet speak Danish when you are in contact with the municipal or other public authorities, you will in many situations be able to get interpreter assistance. The public authority assesses whether you need an interpreter and is responsible for finding an interpreter.
